How To: Find Sun5 Transfer Desk Log Files

You may be aware that the SunSystems Transfer Desk log files are
hidden deep in the SunSystems directory, however finding them is
never easy.
Also, if you have a high volume of Transfer Desk processes, it
may be difficult finding the particular log file that you are
interested in.
To locate the particular log file you are after, from within
Transfer Desk select Tasks menu, and then 'Transfer History
Viewer'.
Locate the relevant log using either the 'Transfer' tab, or the
'Automation' tab, depending on whether the process was a transfer
profile or an automation.
Once the log entry has been located, highlight it and select
'Export Selected Log' from the 'View' menu.
This will display an XML file with the log file location detailed
within the 'Result File' field.
Please note that depending on your Sun and Windows version the log
file may be located within a hidden directory (usually
ProgramData).
As such, it will be necessary to ensure that you are able to
view hidden folders.
